Money Counter XXL sometimes throws out valid bills for set config when reaching 100 on one
I'm experiencing that the Money Counter XXL sometimes throws out valid bills for the config it is set up to count. Adding image to show how it looks like. some dollar bills are thrown out, yet it's set to filter dollar bills without denomination filter.
For how expensive the machine is, I expect it to not do this.

Additionally on that one: you can't press the pack button either -

CecilCan confirm this happening sometimes. The machine also sometimes gets stuck if two bill types manage to max out at the same time, and you have to stop and start it again.

LagonasI can confirm this bug. I have had this multiple times. Not only with dollars, but also with euros. It doesn't happen that often and I just toss out the bill thus far

MihoshikaHappens to me quite often. Not that huge of a deal, since it's trivial to just put it back through my factory line.
Also, maybe it's just because I've been playing for many hours, but the sorter isn't *that* expensive. I've got like 20 of them, most just doing nothing because I changed my layout. -

Henry LoenwindIt happens when one slot gets full directly after another one. Often, the sorter also goes into Schrödinger's state; it thinks it is still running, making the noise and not allowing you to press the tape button, but not processing bills.

MarkusI'm also experiencing this same issue, in date 20th may 2025,
i've made a quick video of the bug, https://youtu.be/2nIvdou75mQ
it does the same even with euro
hopefully it gets patched asap, the machine seems defective. Lmao -

Tyler MergedPost-update today, money counter XXL got "stuck".
I had it to set to count USD 100s, 50s, 20s respectively from left to right. It finished a full stack of 20s so I strapped the stack and removed it from the machine. It then reached a full stack of 50s and the machine "stopped" but it was still running. The stacks remained unchanged at this point, but it was preventing me from strapping the stack of 50s. The strap button wasn't working. It was continually making the counting noise while doing this. I had to hit the stop button to then be able to strap the stack of 50s. -

FriendlyRussianGamerI have seen this happen and made a suggestion myself with a link to a video

Jacob MergedHave the large money machine stop after a stack of 100 or something so that it doesn't just spit good bills out on the floor. I can't discern if the bills are bad or not because if I'm not fast enough it'll just spit everything onto the floor. It wasn't wrapping them and wasn't checking for any specific bill.

GamerkuipersSeems to only be for the first slot and not the other slots. Probably due if there to there being lets say 10 in a row of the same bill and after 5 bills or so it hits max it still shoots out some of the remaining bills because of how fast it is before it is paused

HellfreezeIdk if this was fixed or not, but recently within two patches from Update 1.0.4 & Level Cap 9000, I came across this bug once again where either the XXXL money counter spits out a few bills even though it reaches 100 limit (happens only on the last slot) or the reader reaches 100 cap limit and continues to run despite doing nothing.

ItsMeYaBoiI've been getting this bug, too! Been digging through my "counterfeits" trying to find the glowing bills, but weirdly enough it seems like they're not glowing when I pick them up? That, or I'm just losing track of them with hundreds of bills sitting together.

Titanx507This bug is still happening as of the most recent update and I've seen it do it with all of the different money types. Its more tedious then anything so not urgent but would greatly appreciate it being fixed lol

BTStarted to happen to me after latest update. Every time I have to manually stop the counting machine, pack and then start again.

Lyckynoob21I decided to write my proposal here. Since the work will be carried out on the mechanics of the device anyway. The thing is that already on the first playthrough I had a rather simple idea: when I have only 1 denomination of a banknote left (usually $ 10). Why should I manually collect and tie or wait until the machine methodically counts out a hundred to tie with a button, if I can take XXL and set all outputs to 1 denomination, so that I can tie all three packs at the same time. Which will allow me to devote three times less time to this machine and switch to others. Imagine my surprise when this function turned out to be inoperative. And it still stopped after the first pack, without even checking if there was room in the next window. (It was a huge surprise!)

PugglesI have this too. When slot 1 or 2 is full and slot 3 is at 96/100 bills. I wrap and take the tray that is full. The counter will fill the third slot, but will spit out a couple valid bills before stopping. I think it's not reacting quick enough. I have some videos of this too. Quite annoying!

MuseI wanted to add my screen shot to the pile, instead of making a new topic for it.
What you are seeing.
I sorted my Yin / USD incoming cleaned monies in to Yin to be strapped, and reject the USD. This is a box of the rejected USD that is going to be sorted in to strapped packs. The ratio of valid Yin that was rejected incorrectly is what I'm trying to show here. All 6 XXL boxes. With the power of Maths I see the XXL sorters rejecting valid bills around 1% of the time. (Adding up all of the %'s and dividing by 6 to get true average)
The problem everyone is having is when you are dealing with 12 or more XXL boxes (3650 bills a box) we are going to have to do a third or forth time through the sorters to be able to have all of it ready to go.
I know you are working on this, I just wanted to put my screen shot in the pile. I have 10 boxed that have been effected by this, and every time i flip a set of cash, that number only gets bigger.

Mr. Fresher-er (Shrim Risk Solutions, LLC)I noticed that it spits out 100's of all types even when set to it if you continue to fill the machine while it operates. Can be annoying when packing large orders.

DavidFrom my experience this tends to occur when one type of bill finishes stacking to 100, and then the sorting restarts after packing when another has 99 counted already, and the next couple of bills match said 99, meaning the machine starts counting another couple of bills before the first one is moved into the proper sorting slot.

Deb LentzI can also confirm this is happening to me, usually on the right side slot. It tosses out 1 to 5 good bills every so often.
