Scanner upgrade to display if pile contains marked bills
An upgrade so you could quickly check if a pile contains marked bills or not would be nice. Maybe it could even show percentage of marks, and or if it's police marked or gang marked

To add on to this, when deselecting "scan for quest", it should show *all* the potential properties of bills with checkmarks.
Should list:
* Counterfeit
* Marked (potentially divided between police, FDI, and gang)
* Inked
* Dirty
* Wet
It is currently very annoying trying to sort out marked bills when you do not have a quest active that either requires/disallows marked bills. -

BoogyI would love this, It does not need to show which bills, but labeling what kinda marks are in a pile would be nice. As a heads up, one of the last two missions gives you this ability if you leave it unfinished. (the mission that askes for one marked bill of every kind.)

CaptainJanewayAlso have the scanner actually detect how many gold bars you have in a box or pallet. That would be helpful in missions that require a certain amount.

KeironThis should be a possible upgrade to the money counter, it would save a lot of time spending crouched on the floor manually checking each bill to make sure they are not marked, the machines can already separate counterfeit bills why not add the ability to separate marked bills too?

NatalieI agree with these. I don't even mind if it's only generic and not specific to the types. If it's red, it's marked, and needs flagged as such and separated out regardless of type.
To add on to this, maybe when we hold a bill with a new marking for the first time, an optional tip pop-up can be implemented to explain the marking and what it means/who it goes to?
I noticed we had to restart several games because we were putting entire collections of marked monies into the piggy bank and couldn't progress because we didn't know we needed to keep them. -

SgtGrumblesIII MergedThe scanner should not place a check mark in the field of "No Marked Bills" if there ARE marked bills in the package. How is that criteria marked as met when in actuality, it is not? If there is even a single marked bill in the package, the check mark should not be displayed.

KILLERROBOT99From testing; the scanner will show marked bills if a mission has a criteria against them. BUT it will only show if there are marked bill in a pile IF the ratio of marked bills is larger than the ratio of unmarked bills.
If you have 1 Marked and 1 Unmarked bill sitting next to each other, the scanner will state there is marked bills in frame. Now if you add another unmarked bill to the frame then the scanner will state there is no longer any marked bills because the ratio is now 2:1 against the marked bill.
I agree that there should be an ability or upgrade you can buy for your scanner so that it can give you a broad idea of if marked bills are in frame or not. Then the player can go about searching the pile and removing said bills. -

JonI think a Scanner+ that detects for non-cash things (trash, statues, necklaces, vases, etc) would be awesome.

I've found that holding the quest "Collector's Edition" (the one where someone asks you for 1 of each non-standard bill (marked, inked etc.) on pause is a "We've got Scanner+ at home" way of doing this, but at some point I'd really like to complete the quest without having to lose the "extra" scanner features. It is a main quest, after all.
