Coins gameplay functionality
Dealing with coins in the same way as cash would be great. Having a small machine that sorts and rolls coins. And then using a "coin box" to put the rolled coins in. (In the same way as we use the plastic wrap for cash)

BoogyI came to suggest to coin sorter, as well as coin rolls in the shop and coin boxes for stacks for rolled coins. Did not think of missions for them but that would be neat.

AlanI've gotten a mission specifically for coins so this would be an awesome addition to the game.

DozenI'd love to see piles of coins along with piles of bills! Wrapping it and coin related/mixed tasks would make a great addition and a place for new tools and mechanics. Fake coins? Or maybe destructs? Washing them to make them shine. That's neat.

TaniotoshiAbout coins, maybe we could have a container to melt them in the burner and use the melt metal to create statues xD

Darkiss MergedWould be nice to see a coin countiing machine and maybe rollers for it to use in some more quest types. Also would like to see a case similar to a briefcase but maybe clear to store and stack coins.

HeisenbearMore requests for coins would be great. I only got one in the main story.
Or new features like vending machines of some sort.
Art or unique coins, to collect like the one with money bills. -

Luffy523 MergedMake coins more frequent in missions, and being able to spend them on basic (but rare) quests such as collecting 10k worth of coins or : and that's my point ==> In a mini (or large) casino: slot machines, poker... Why not some arcade mini games... And all these activities could earn us money to use for our missions or piggy bank...

Tayla MergedIt would be super great to have the scanner app on the smartphone also work for coins! When you pick up the coins you don't get a total like you do when you pick up notes, so being able to check against the scanner and go "yep definitely 50 not 49 and I miscounted" would be so helpful.

Stephen MergedIt would be cool to have a coin sorting machine to sort out the different coins from one another.

Stephen MergedCollectable art coins that are carved from real currency would be very cool. There are a few artists out there that could be a possible collaboration.

AckdamSo, as a coin and currency collector, I would really love to see more implementation of coins. Coin sorters are nothing new (and many can detect counterfeits). I'm sure many people have seen the 'coin star' machines at supermarkets and banks that sort and count loose change, then spit out a receipt that can be used to get the cash value (...minus an often insane processing fee).
I also like the possibility of a slot machine or similar, or even using coins to use the industrial washing machines on the balcony. There are definitely multiple avenues to explore with coins here.
@Ken - Adding on to your list: Different coins are different sizes, so coin rolls are generally a set size that totals to a certain, even value for easy calculation, while keeping most of the rolls a similar, manageable length.
USD as an example:
1 cent - 50 per roll, 50 cents
5 cent - 40 per roll, $2
10 cent - 50 per roll, $5
25 cent - 40 per roll, $10
50 cent - 20 per roll, $10
1 dollar coin - 25 per roll, $25 -

Pyro3000I finished the game with 4 full piggybanks just sitting around. I would have loved having something to do with the coins, especially since I've always preferred coins over bills. Maybe they could be used to unlock decorations? I'd love to be able to customize the play area.

Sebastian MergedWhat about a kind of coin collector dlc where you play the role of a middle man between collectors and the seller.
Adding in a lot of different coins of different currencies (cent, pennies, yen, Chinese Yuan, Indian Rupee, Swiss francs, crowns etc.) with different dates and maybe famous people on special edition coins and being able to take a bit for you own collection.
Tldr: Turning the real life hobby of coin collecting into gameplay.
Maybe even game/anime inspired currency like Bottlecaps, Gil, Zenny or Belly (One Piece).
This game has the potential to just add content like Powerwashing Sim and i love it -

Anire StarThe suggestion of a Slot-Machine is great.
And being able to sort the coins mechanically is much aprechiated. And then the industrial Washer should have real prices for the different programs. A vending machine with food/drinks/snacks might be interesting. especially if some items can give benefits like faster walking or greater carry capabilities. -

Shadowhawk3050A counter for how many coins are in a stack in your hand would be great, much like the counter for individual bills.

kateI'm seconding the idea of being able to roll coins and exchange them for bills - they seem to pile up faster than I can deal with them and take up way more space. (The reverse, bills to coins, could also be possible, because I know things like the industrial washer only take coins.) I'd also like to ask for the ability to put coins in the giant piggy bank and have them count toward your $1M goal.
I think the coin quests could also benefit from being adjusted a little bit. Generally, I think that the totals wanted for coin quests should be lower (<100 dollars or euros, for example) because coins tend to be a lot bulkier and require many more pieces to make the same amount as bills do. It could get very tedious very quickly trying to assemble and ship $300 in coins.
EDIT: Forgot to add - adding coin rolling paper to the workbench.
