  there should be a hot-key to pull up the scanner. and there should be the abilty to pick up stacks of cash while in the scanner mode. this way we can have better access to sorting out marked bills etc

  I'd like hotkeys in general, for all items in the inventory. It's not bad bad but I'd rather have keys to change between knife and strap

  I would also like to add... while using the workbench, I wish I could press Z or X to put way the containers instead of pressing ESC every time. It feels unnatural to me.

  @Lazrek: When you have an order ready to ship, the scanner will let you know if the container you are using and its contents meet the needs of the order as far as container type, bill denomination, marked bills, counterfeit bills, bound or wrapped stacks, and total value of currency. It won't track for orders requesting 'objects' like trash or statues, though. It's also helpful for scanning stacks, wrapped packs, containers, and pallets to keep track of how much of what currency is where. Extremely useful for catching if you've accidentally packed a stack of 99 bills instead of 100, or used mixed denominations instead of the required denomination.
  
  Note: If you go into your order tracker list to mark the order for delivery, you can also select the scan option from the order details. So, pack the order, set it to delivery, then scan it to make sure everything is as needed.

  The time it takes for the phone UI to open, and then to pick the scanner, and then for the scanner to be active on the screen is too long. A hotkey would make it better, but there's also just too long a delay when the scanner opens for fancy visual effects to happen. Should be close to instant for how often it's needed for very short periods of time

  a scanner toggle mode would massively improve the experience of having to search for money or move about. not actually opening the phone app directly but literally allowing you to apply the scanner filter to your vision while still interacting with objects.
  
  currently for very large monetary value orders even doing math in your head or with a calculator i find myself double checking with the scanner before sending out a container and its frustrating that even with the scanner view open i cannot actually interact with the environment itself.
  
  this becomes even more frustrating with the scanner being the only way to actually identify incomplete straps that are not 100 bills as otherwise you have to manually pick up each and every strapped pack to see the bill count.
