Possibility for sorters to auto strap bundles and store more in output.
The description of the larger sorters suggests that they can auto strap, which they don't. I would suggest that there's a button to (maybe long click on the strap button) make it auto strap and then continue sorting.
The outputs look like they should be able to hold several stacks.

This is absolutely critical. Without this there is no reason to buy more than one counter. Most of the time I just sit crouched as the dollars are sorted. -

stann_coI would also be fine if they just spit out the strapped bills like the tiny sorter do when you manually strap them, so you could place a little bucket or box underneath, and do something else while it goes through it's thing

tomI just wish it would spit them out the back. I see no reason to have more than one sorter if you have to manually click pack and take them out.

TuqannSorters have a "Auto bundle" option that can be toggled (say, long press of button), Then you could have a rudimentary robot arm that simply can pick up nearest bundled stack then the arm vertically (to allow lining up multiples) up and over and drop the stack on the opposite side, where the player can either place a container or just let them pile.
These arms can be sold in the blackmarket, but I suggest you make unlocking them a special mission where you send robot parts and money to an underground lab that conducts blackmarket research. That idea can open a tech tree paths where other DLC tech can be unlocked. -

AckdamI'd be fine with them auto-bundling, then kicking out the bundle. Positioned on a table correctly, they could kick the bundle out into a pre-positioned box.

While I do agree this would be a nice addition, definitely worth having more than one sorter. I've got 4 of the XXL counters for each currency. (plus a couple smaller ones for $10 bills.) Having multiple running at the same time allows you to A) Have longer periods of time between refilling money/straps, and B) Not have to wait as long between grabbing packs.
You also get that glorious music of multiple machines running at once. -

GynHello,
I think it would be interesting to add a button on the XXL sorters to circle the bundles automatically and expel them.
I find this essential and would make it possible not to stay in front of the machine to click on each bundle of notes.
Also to be able to put ribbon in the machine for 100 bundles. -

GlennI think having an "industrial" auto bundler is a better idea than the next step of the XXL sorter. The industrial bundler would be simple. Pour in loose cash and keep it supplied with tape, and it dumps 100 count bundles on the ground out of a drop slot. The bundler can on sort a single "designated" currency at a time, and the bundles would be perfect 100 counts of each denomination. The bundler wouldn't sort out counterfeits or marked bills. That should have been done before the final sorting and bundling stage. Either give us a button to change currencies or make four of them, like the large money counter and the EU counterpart. And i see this thing is as big as the dryer booth.

GlennI have a simpler fix that should still accomplish the auto-bundle concept. A simple fix to the "Pack" buttons on all the sorters. Sort of like Caps Lock. Tapping the "Pack" button will bundle the bills in the hopper. But if the player holds down the "Pack" button, the "Pack" button could be locked and the sorter auto-bundles when any of its hoppers maxies out. The button could be photo-negative while this function is running and end when the sorter runs out of tape. Blue button with white lettering instead. The player just collects the bundles as they auto-complete instead of having to push the Pack for each individual bundle.

DanielI was thinking like a larger machine, maybe ATM sized, where there is a Stash in the bottom to empty out when it is completed. Sort of like how the table works. I'd be fine if this did only one currency at a time or simply one denomination at a time. But have a downside to it such as it does not differentiate between counterfeit, marked, or legal tender. This could help sort currencies faster but still have the balance of not making everything too easy

MattieThe coin sorters auto pack and dispense by default so the tech is there to do it.
How about a purchasable upgrade for XXL sorter which slots on top of the machine where the bill strap roll currently is. It increases the amount of bill straps it can hold from 40 to 400 and adds a toggle to auto pack. -

Fellamaking the XXL sorters behave like the coin sorters is a must. having to run back and forth between the sorters to strap them manually is SO tedious and bordering on torturous. especially when you have a large amount of cash to sort through. it takes literal hours. it's not fun.
